Dave's Camping Weekend 2005!

At the

Texas Renaissance Festival

'Tournament of Champions'

What:

Join our band of wandering Giants for fun and frivolity at the 30th annual Texas Renaissance Festival.   The hosts will be arriving early and/or camping overnight to enjoy a full weekend of activities!

Visitors ramble along shaded cobblestone walkways in this recreated 16th century village. Knights from around the world will compete in contests displaying their skill at arms, both in the arena and on the pathways of New Market Village in this year's Tournament of Champions. The Texas Renaissance Festival is the largest renaissance festival in the world, which covers over 50 acres with 21 stages providing over 200 performances daily, over 300 arts and crafts shoppes, International Cuisine at 60 food and beverage shoppes, over 3000 costumed characters daily, the 6 gardens and chapels of New Market Village, with the Royal Fireworks, held at dusk above the festival's lake.

Contact one of the hosts so we can make plans to meet you.  Or, if you decide to attend at the last minute, meet us in the later afternoon (both days) at the Sea Devil Tavern for libations and lascivious ballads.  Some of us will arrive the night before to socialize and dance with the regulars on the grounds of His Majesty's Campgrounds.   Contact one of the hosts for more information or view Photos from the Tall Weekend at TRF 2002!

When:

October 9th  & 10th 2004.  Arrive early to enjoy the pre-opening festivities at ~8:30am. (Some Hardy Souls will arrive Friday November 14th for free overnight camping at His Majesty's Campgrounds.  Contact if you plan to camp.)
